A USPSA-Approved, Competition-Ready ZEV Handgun

Once the original O.Z-9 was launched, ZEV Technologies rolled out several variants designed for particular uses, including competition and concealed-carry. However, this particular Competition model of the O.Z-9 comes ready right from the box, thanks to the inclusion of a Bushnell First Strike 2.0 red-dot sight atop the KC Signature G34-length pistol slide.

ZEV Technologies designed its O.Z-9 after examining the market and determining that there was a need for a handgun that offered improved balance and enhanced control during firing. The core of each ZEV Technologies O.Z-9 is the company's patent-pending steel receiver, which runs the full length of the pistol and completely integrates the locking block.

  • Barrel length: 4.5 inches
  • Overall length: 8.75 inches
  • Weight: 1.85 pounds
  • Ships with two 17-round magazines

One of the benefits of the steel receiver inside the grip frame is that it allows for easy trigger upgrades that won't require a complete breakdown of the gun. In the future, the ZEV O.Z-9 will be compatible with different grips, colors and texture options, since the steel receiver is serialized and separate from the grip frame. The ZEV O.Z-9 accepts all Glock magazines
